SSDP - National This is the national website for Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP.) They are committed to providing education on harms caused by the War on Drugs, working to involve youth in the political process, and promoting an open, honest, and rational discussion of alternative solutions to our nation's drug problems
NORML - National National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML.) Their aim is to move public opinion sufficiently to achieve the repeal of cannabis prohibition so that the responsible use of this drug by adults is no longer subject to penalty.
Pro/Con ProCon.org is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit public charity that has no government affiliations of any kind. They provide studies, graphs, charts, and the history of marijuana for medical, religous, and recreational usage. Their stated purpose is educational and they do not express any opinions on their research projects.
Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP), is a non-profit, international, educational organization comprising former and current police officers, government agents and other law enforcement agents who oppose the current War on Drugs. LEAP now has over 10,000 members in 86 countries.

They envision new drug policies based on science, compassion, health and human rights and a just society in which the fears, prejudices and punitive prohibitions of today are no morein 86 countries.
Marijuana Policy Project (MPP) MPP advocates taxing and regulating the possession and sale of cannabis, arguing that a regulated industry would separate purchasers from the street market for cocaine, heroin, and other hard drugs. MPP also focuses on removing criminal penalties for marijuana use, with a particular emphasis on making marijuana medically available to seriously ill people who have the approval of their doctors.
Dr. Lester Grinspoon's Marijuana Uses Dr. Grinspoon is on the faculty (emeritus) of the Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry. He has been studying cannabis since 1967 and has published two books on the subject. This site contains a compilation of some great essays and information on cannabis, medical marijuana and related issues.
